Once youāve paid the 25% deposit and signed the contract, Iāll send over your pre-design homework materials. These will include a brand questionnaire and a folder to help you gather all your website content. To ensure everything stays on schedule, please share your copy, images, fonts, and logos before your planned start date. After it is all gathered, we will schedule your firm design website design week.
On Monday, weāll get started by setting up your Showit account (if you don't already have one), uploading the content youāve provided, and customized your set number of pages homepage. If you have any additional materials or changes, just let me know, and Iāll make sure everything is perfectly tailored to your vision.
Each day, Monday-Friday, Iāll focus on customizing 1-2 pages of your site, starting with the homepage. At the end of each day youāll receive a preview link to review our work and an opportunity to provide feedback.. Once I receive your comments, Iāll make any adjustments immediately!
As we approach the end of the week, weāll be in the final stages! Weāll polish up the remaining website pages, ensure everything is optimized for SEO, and prepare all your launch graphics. This is where everything comes together, so your site is ready to make a great impression!

At the end of the week, you'll have your fully customized site ready for launch! Iāll provide you with the final files and handle the domain transfer/linking. When youāre ready to go live, simply hit āpublish,ā and youāll be all set!

what are the signs you need a new website
My schedule will be cleared for a full 7-days for your website customization once all your pre-design homework and assets are delivered. Before the kick-off of your project, you will need to complete your website homework (this will be 1-3 weeks of work (depending on your capacity) prior to your design start date.
Once this is all submitted, I will send you a scheduler for you to pick your design week.
Each day, Monday-Friday, Iāll focus on customizing 1-2 pages of your site, starting with the homepage. At the end of each day youāll receive a preview link to review our work and an opportunity to provide feedback.

Is this package pricing all inclusive?
Yes! When you select this project type, your website template is included for no additional cost if you are choosing one of MY templates. However the cost of custom fonts, branded icons, premium mockups/graphics, or another designer's template are not cover.
Be aware Showit is subscription-based, you will need to sign up for a paid Showit hosting account ($19-39/mo.) in order to use a Showit template. Click here to get a month free!
Your Showit subscription will cover your hosting cost + access to the Showit builder so you don't have to pay a second hosting cost to another provider. Everything is all-in-one!
do you work with templates from other designers?
Yes, I will customize and update a template you have purchased from a designer, but I will not recreate a design you have not purchased or have permission to mimic to style of. I would be happy to help you look for an option that fits your brand and business niche.
what if I need more than 8 pages customized?
Depending on the length of content and nature of your site pages, we can discuss whether additional customized pages are doable within your work week time-frame. Set up a free call so we can chat more about your ideas.
Some sites that require more than 8 pages, I offer a package that would cover the additional pages - contact for a custom quote.
You can also hire me for additional day-rate support for added design needs or template customization that isnāt covered by the 7 day agreement. (Booking a Completely Custom Website is nother option.)
For a half-day - $750 - perfect for a single additional website page or custom design layouts on an existing page
For a full-day - $1250 - perfect for an additional long-form sales page design or 2-3 additional shorter (less than 800 words) website pages
what do you need for me to get started?
Once you pay your 25% deposit and sign your contract, Iāll send your onboarding which includes a pre-design homework questionnaire and a folder to collect your images, logos, and website copy. Iāll need these on the Friday before your start date in order to begin your project.
how does the payment plan work?
Yes! Reserve your date with a 25% deposit, pay 25% the Friday before your start date, and 50% upon completion of the project to receive your final files.
what if I don't get my on-boarding done in time?
A $250 fee is assessed when we donāt receive your questionnaire and website content. Since Website In a Week is on a quicker timeline, itās essential that we receive your materials in a timely manner, or we risk having to reschedule for my next availability.
does this package include seo optimization?
As a web designer, I always optimize my clientsā websites for SEO by including relevant keywords, header tags, page titles, and meta descriptions. Your design itself will also be user-friendly, mobile-optimized, and include proper file names so your images pop up in search alongside your website.
do I have to be a specific niche or business?
I typically work with photographers, but not exclusively. I've also done brands and websites for interior designers, wedding planners, coaches, business managers, and family/lifestyle photographers. Please don't hesitate to reach out - I very rarely say no, and even if I'm not the best fit for your industry, I can point you in the direction of someone who is!
can you help me with website copy?
Ideally, I'd like to receive this from you ahead of time, but donāt worry if you struggle with copy! I'll provide prompts and guidance to help you and make edits to what you provide as I incorporate it into your website layout. Alternatively, you can work with a copywriter and provide your website copy document before our project begins.
Does this package include branding?
Website In a Week doesnāt include branding, but you can add it to your project if youād like! Request details on your quote to learn more.
